PAYROLL DEDUCTION Payroll deduction eliminates standing in line each payday. Your pay check or a portion of it can be automatically deposited to any of your credit union accounts as you designate. You may use payroll deduction to fund your share draft, savings, Club Accounts, and IRA accounts and make loan payments if you wish. With this financial option, accounts are always up to date without the worry of getting to the credit union.
DIRECT DEPOSIT You can have your pension, military, social security, or other type of recurring payment deposited directly into one or more of your accounts at the credit union.
This automatic service prevents loss or theft of your check and loss of interest caused by delays in receiving your check. You?l save time and gain peace of mind when you know that your funds are safely tucked away in your account. Direct deposit credits your deposit on the day you would normally receive your payment in the mail.
DEPOSIT INSURANCE All your share deposits up to $100,000.00 and certain retirement accounts up to $250,000.00 are insured by The National Credit Union Share Insurance Fund (NCUSIF), an arm of The National Credit Union Administration (NCUA), an agency of the U.S. Government established by Congress in 1970. All deposits which exceed $100,000.00 are fully insured by The Massachusetts Credit Union Share Insurance Corporation (MSIC).
USA Patrtiot Act - Disclosure Section 326 of the Act requires the creation of reasonable procedures to (1) verify the identity of any person seeking to open an account/establish any relationship with the credit union, to the extent reasonable and practical; (2) maintain records of the information used to verify the person?s identity, including name, address, and other identifying information; and (3) determine whether the person appears on any list of known or suspected terrorist organizations provided to the financial institution by any government agency. |
