What Is A Share Account?

The Credit Union Guide for Student Money Makers

This is your regular savings account. Your money will earn dividends, and you can put your money into and take your money out of the share account whenever you want.

Your balance is the amount of money in your account. When you have a share account you will receive a monthly statement that shows all the activity and the balance of your account.

You need to have a Social Security Number to open a share account. You must also be eligible for membership with Saugus Federal Credit Union. To learn how you can join, click here: Membership Eligibility.

What Is The Pandy Panda Club?
It is a savings program specially designed for our younger members, your " kids". The Pandy Panda Club encourages kids to save while making it fun and easy too!

How Does It Work?
First, your child will be given a Pandy Panda coin folder. Once the coin folder is filled with 20 quarters, we transfer the $5.00 into a Pandy Panda statement savings account.

As the Pandy Panda Club account balance grows with ongoing deposits, Saugus Federal Credit Union will reward your child with a variety of prize give-aways!
